XBT is the first truly new technology for the web in many years.
We didn't just rework existing technology we went all the way back to the original drawing boards to learn exactly how the web works, and how it could be improved. We started with an examination of the operating system of the server, followed by research on all of the web communications protocols and security, and finally to the functionality of all the different browsers available for use.

Nearly 3 years of research and design have taught us that the tried and true, stable version of HTML 4.01 had all the functionality that was necessary for secure web applications if the standard was followed properly. There never was any need to extend the standard with things such as XML or JAVA, although the JAVA project was on the right track when it started, web technology has vastly exceeded it's capabilities. Both of these older technologies run much slower and take up a lot more of the valuable band width on the web than XBT does. We found that much of the functionality that was needed to produce fast secure applications was already there. We just added what was missing, plugged a few security holes, and tightened the whole system up.
With XBT there is nothing to install or upgrade, ever.
The XBT engine is fully web deployed in itself. There is nothing to install on your computer. Any time that we make changes and enhancements to the XBT engine they will be immediately available to all of our clients. Every time you open your application, you will be using the latest version without ever having to do anything.
